When I started singing I realized that I could do this forever. You know that tingly special feeling you get when you are happy. It’s like going on vacation after a long grueling week at work. You just feel refreshed and complete. Why do you do what you do? Does it complete you? Does it serve a worthwhile purpose for you? Is it because you love it? Or are you just trying to follow someone else’s view of what you should become? I get it. We DO have to pay the bills. I think every now and then, we should ask ourselves these questions. Let’s find the purpose in what we do. Let’s make it work for us and what we need in our lives. I know that I may never be perfect. I know that I may never be a superstar, but I know that I can set my life up to be perfect in my own way. I know that it is perfectly fine to live my life in dedication to my family and my emotional well being if that is what I choose. Even if it means not making as much money. Also if that is what I choose, I need to carry out actions, plans, and meet the right people to make it happen.
Keep working people.
Sincerely Yours,
Angela Shella

10 Reasons Why You Should Never Give Up on trying to fulfill positive and meaningful hopes and dreams.
1.Because someone out there will appreciate what you do. Someone needs your talent or they will be blessed by what you give to the world. Someone needs your inspiration.
2. Because years after you are dead, some random people on the internet will find your work or remnants of your talent. They will say. “Wow, this is great. I want to learn more about this.” You always want to leave a good legacy for the future generations. Drop the crumbs of your talent as long as you live and because of technology they literally will never go away.
3. Because things just don’t happen overnight. You have to try, try, and try again. Be persistent.
4. Because giving up is for losers and losers don’t win. You are a winner, right?
5. Because having a reason to get up in the morning helps keep you focused and helps you live a long life. Your reason for being you.
6. Because it is about the ride not the destination. It’s about consistently pursuing your dreams and learning more about what you need to do. It is the journey that fulfills you.
7.Because there is a person out there, much worse off than you, who never gave up. Stop making excuses and grow up.
8. Because you meet tons of people when you are trying to accomplish and promote something positive.
9. Because you owe it to yourself and your loved ones. Go for it.
10. Because God gave you this life and you had better be grateful for it. You better not let it go to waste.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to love the job they have. However, it is very feasible to learn to love your job and be a peace with where you are right now. Rediscover the beauty in it. Perhaps you just haven’t paid attention to the beauty of it. Maybe there is an opportunity in it that you have not explored. I often find myself, striving, looking and pursuing more stuff. Like right now I’m thinking that a trip to Italy would be perfect for me. But I am not in Italy. I look outside my window, though, and I see amazing simplicity. Trees, a warm sun, a beautiful sky, a cardinal, a gorgeous view of mossy rocks. Could this be my Italy. Could I be at peace with where I am right now. Today I will focus on being content and just enjoying what I have. Today is my day to rediscover the beauty of where I am. Oh look, there goes another cardinal! Fresh air. I am actually breathing in fresh air.

Angela Shella Music will be cranking out new dance songs. Energize yourself. Take the challenge. Use Angela Shella’s music to energize and exercise “Describe My Love” and “Space and Time”. Dance and Exercise. Space and Time is the perfect dance song. If you are physically able(allowed by your doctor), I challenge you to dance through these songs from beginning to end and see if you are energized. Exercise decreases depression and anxiety. Exercise improves psychological well-being. Exercise decreases the risk of developing diabetes and helps maintain body weight. It also improves your chances of living a longer life. It has been said to decrease risk of cancer and joint diseases. I often marvel at Lance Armstrong when I think about his story. I truly believe his life was extended because of all his rigorous exercise. We are not God but we can try very hard to live a lifestyle that prolongs our life. A few more years could be fun. I will be pushing out more dance tunes for you. Don’t forget to comment and let me know which songs you like best. Thanks in advance. Ciao!

Angela Shella is a beautiful singer and educator. Beauty is more than great fashion and makeup. Beauty is about how you feel inside. It is about your style. Your confidence. Beauty is what people see when they look into your eyes and feel your positive energy. Are you beautiful? Wearing great clothes and make up can make you feel more positive and more confident and thus you become even more beautiful. So it isn’t about the hair, clothes or makeup, but it is about what your personality says to the world and what you believe about yourself. It’s about how you walk through this world with your head up because you feel great. A few years ago I wrote “pretty songs”, a collection of songs that made me feel beautiful inside. I suppose, then, we all have our ugly moments. I don’t fully understand how some of the most attractive and talented people in the world commit suicide. Feeling trapped and you feel there is no other way out. Marilyn Monroe surely had so much more to share with the world. Study the picture and tell me if Marilyn Monroe looks sad here. Be beautiful people.

I was surprised to hear that the Hall of fame basket ball coach Pat Summit was diagnosed with early onset dementia. I hope we can find a cure for this but until then there are some things that we can do to keep our brains healthy.

1. Eat healthy, fresh, whole, organic foods. You know, antioxidants, veggies, fruits, nuts, water, and organic produce.
2. Be socially connected to real people. Fellowship with people. Have a party and listen to great music.
3. Engage in mentally stimulating activity, classes, games, etc. Read books, learn a new language, a new mental exercise game or puzzle, a new musical instrument, or any activity that is new to you and requires some mental stimulation.
4.Laughter is good for your brain. Hang around people that make you laugh. Smiling has been scientifically proven to improve mood and health.
5. Exercise regularly. Do rigorous but safe exercise. Your brain cells literally respond to exercise.
6.Get quality sleep.Sleep Sleep Sleep.
7. Manage Stress. If you have a lot of stress in your life, manage it. See someone. Don’t go years and years with built up and unmanaged stress.
8. Have a reason to live. Have a purpose. A task or goal or purpose that literally is your reason for getting up in the morning.

I was disgusted with myself today. I had a horrible eating moment. Nonstop bingeing is never good. But it’s done, Angela. Get over it and move on. Wallowing in failure or weakness is a total waste of time. That not only applies to dieting, but it also applies to your career, your aspirations, and your dreams. Self-pity is not a road to success. You can’t go back into the past. Stop crying over spilled milk. Get up and live. Fight for a better future. So Here I go. I’m on my way out for a run. The future is bright.

Lately, I find myself asking for help and relying a bit too much on other people. After all, we all need each other, don’t we? But This morning I tell myself: It all boils down to self-discipline. Decide what you need to do. Acknowledge temptation. Just decide that you will resist it. Write the temptation down on a piece of paper. Ball it up and throw it away or burn it. Decide that today, your life is your own. No apologies. No excuses. No one to blame. No one to rely on. Today it is just you and yourself. Say that you are strong. List the actions you need to take. Take them. Just do it. Then get up tomorrow and do it again.

You can not worry too much about your failures.  Just learn from them and move on to the next thing. Life is short. There is always another game to play. Another day to smile. Something new to learn. Another person to meet.
